The HDR detacheur or dethatcher is used in grain milling to break up sheets of compacted product, which would be discarded in the sifting stage. This destoner has been designed for the treatment of products in the floury passages.
The product is picked up by a rotor of conveyor blades that rotates at high speed, breaking up the product as it is transported towards the outlet.
Its special design makes it easy to be placed with legs on the floor or suspended. In case it is placed before the pneumatic suction conveying system and the detacheur stops, the product will continue to flow through it.
