To properly moisten grains prior to mill and sift them is essential. It can be done in two stages: in a first stage the water is added to be, in a second stage, mixed with grains.
In the former stage, the DAHG or DAM Water Doser is employed. In the latter stage, the RIN Intensive Dampener is used. In the design of the DAHG Dampening System the utmost in microprocessed technology has been applied. The moisturer work is based on the ¨Dry materials measurement¨ principle, which consists in measuring dry grains dampness to further calculate the amount of water to be dosed.
The grains´ weight can be determined by an impact weigher such us the BGE, by a mechanical scale or by an electronic weighing hopper. On the other hand, with the DAM Dampener one can manually moisten the grains, by taking into account their flow and wetness they present. The later has to be previously measured within the lab.
