Grain Milling

The machinery required for the milling and sifting process is fundamentally the same for different grains. In its correct location and use within the flow diagram, is the key to achieve high yields and a product of excellent quality.

As you know, the arrangement of machines in a soft or semi-hard wheat mill is not the same as in a hard or durum wheat mill. And it changes much more with other seeds such as corn, rye, etc. It is even very common that when changing the quality of the same seed we have to change fabrics in the sifting. In other cases it is necessary to change the plansifter screens because a different product is desired. The latter is very common in the corn mill where many times more gritz is needed to the detriment of corn flour or vice versa. This and the quality of the machines is what we are constantly working on in our engineering sector.
