Classifying and Sifting

We have the right sifter for every product, particle size and requirement

There are almost 3 types of sifting or classifying:

  1. When it’s necessary for the incoming product to be classified or sieved into various fractions of very precise granulometry. In many cases this classification is carried out after a grinding process.
  2. When it’s necessary to classify for quality control needs, to separate foreign products such as stones, cement, etc. Usually, the reason is to separate foreign elements that could appear in the process. This is the most common application of our CC Conical Sifter.
  3. When it is necessary to classify by difference in specific weight. For example, to separate a shell that is light, compared to the interior of the grain, which is heavier. Or to separate stones of the same size as the particle to be treated. For this we generally use our DPR Classifier or air channels.

We have many types of sieves adapted to the type of product and the need for classification or sieving. Some of them are rotary or centrifugal sieves and others are vibratory or flat machines. We also have the CL online sieve, which allows sifting the product within the pneumatic conveying system. In all cases, the perforation of the sieve is adapted to each need.
